I’ve always had this thing with a guy in scrubs, so you can only imagine what a whump’d guy in scrubs would do to my fragile heart..

Lovely scene from the series Bajo Sospecha, the victim here is Victor, a surgeon in a hospital that has a serial killer lurking if I’m assuming correctly.. They’re getting close to tracking him down so the guy sneaks in and suffocates him with some gas that gets him all confused and dizzy… He blacks out and ends up finding himself standing on the edge of the roof, he tells his friend when he finds him “I don’t know what I’m doing here..” before he slips and blacks out once again… He’s got this “lost puppy” look throughout the episode, love it!

Only for them to get so much worse…

This is honestly the best whump I’ve seen or will see for the rest of my life… In the span of two and a half episodes, Julio gets shot, gets beaten whilst shot, remains unconscious and fevered for a while, wakes up only to start coughing blood shortly after, and just when you think he’s had enough, he’s held down as they cauterize the infected wound, and remains semi-conscious and weak for the rest of the next episode…

Wish audio is enabled for the 3rd GIF from the top, his painful scream when the man keeps pushing on his gunshot wound is so heartbreaking…

Mind you, this GIF set is super summarized to fit the 10 frame slot, so there’s way more for each of those scenes, these are just highlights, might create more detailed ones over the weekend..

“Where are you taking me?” -Julio Olmedo

Lost track of how many times I’ve repeated this scene… The vulnerability, the confusion, the way he’s clinging on to them, the complete helplessness and trust he was showing as his two friends tried to hide him from further harm was just beautiful…

This takes place post the gunshot/coughing-blood/cauterizing scenes…

Sidenote: I don’t know why, but the hairs at the back of his neck had me undone, reminded me of a beautiful passage from the book “Me before You” by Jojo Moyes:

“Where the back of his neck had been covered by hair, it was even paler than the rest of his skin. It looked soft and white and oddly vulnerable.”
