Kylie launches comeback single Dancing – and it’s all about DEATH
In the song, the pop princess hints at her battle with breast cancer and her relationship with actor Joshua Sasse, which ended last February
KYLIE is launching her comeback – with a song about death.
The pop princess is about to return with her highly anticipated fourteenth studio album and has an interesting topic of choice for her new single Dancing.
The lyrics hint at the breast cancer survivor having no plans to retire and continuing until she pops her clogs on-stage.
She sings: “Everybody’s got a story, Let it be a blaze of glory, Burning bright never fade away, When the final curtain falls.
“We can say we did it all, The never ending of a perfect day, Can’t stand still (Can’t stand still), Won’t slow down (Won’t slow down), When I go out I wanna go out dancing now (ah ah ah ah).”
I’m told that the pop-disco track is a return to Kylie at her best ahead of the release of her latest album Golden. It will see her reclaim her rightful position at the top of the charts after splitting from JAY Z’s Roc Nation label after her last album, Kiss Me Once, flopped in 2014.
Last year I revealed that Kylie was set to release her most personal record to date after splitting from love rat JOSHUA SASSE last February.
And the singer hints at her heartbreak on the new track, admitting: “No one wants to stay at home, Nobody wants to be alone, When you come knocking, I’ll be at your door, I don’t never wanna stop.”
I hear the video is being directed by Sophie Muller, who previously worked with RIHANNA and ONE DIRECTION.
It’s good to have you back Kylie.
It's their loss, Cam
CAMILA CABELLO, posing up a storm in this steamy snap to promote album Camila, wasn’t eligible for the Brits as its release last Friday was too late for the nominee deadline. My money’s now on her to win next year’s international category.
Liam's got some gall
LIAM GALLAGHER has opened up about the parenting dilemmas he faces with teen sons LENNON and GENE.
The former OASIS rocker admits his fatherly advice often falls on deaf ears – especially given his ongoing feud with brother NOEL and love-rat past.
Liam admits that if he tries to stop them fighting they hit back with: “You don’t speak to your brother!”
It’s a fair point.
And if he tells them to treat their girlfriends with respect, they point out that he “d***ed around” their respective mothers, singers PATSY KENSIT and NICOLE APPLETON.
He added: “I ain’t got a leg to stand on.”
You said it, Liam.
Dan on the Depp affair
DANIEL RADCLIFFE has weighed into the controversy over JOHNNY DEPP not being sacked from the Fantastic Beasts series of films.
The Harry Potter star revealed he has mixed feelings over the actor continuing to play Gellert Grindelwald after he was accused of being physically and mentally abusive towards his ex-wife AMBER HEARD.
Daniel admits that while he wants to stay loyal to the franchise he can understand fans’ concerns, after creator JK ROWLING defended the decision to keep Johnny in the films.

He said: “I can see why people are frustrated.
“I’m not saying anything that anybody hasn’t already said – and this is a weird analogy to draw – in the NFL there are lots of players arrested for smoking weed and there is other people’s behaviour that goes way beyond that, and it’s tolerated because they’re very famous players.
“I suppose the thing I was struck by was, we did have a guy who was reprimanded for weed on the (original Potter) film, essentially, so obviously what Johnny has been accused of is much greater than that.”
