Doesn't she scrub up well! Amy Winehouse back to her best in moody photoshoot

What a difference a year makes.

Amy Winehouse is used to being a poster girl, but it's normally for falling out of bars and looking dishevelled.

But as these stunning new snaps prove, the singer appears to have finally put her troubles behind her.

Doing what she does best: She's been used to making headlines for all the wrong reasons in recent years, but Amy Winehouse looks healthy and happy as she sits strumming a guitar in the new promotional shots, her first in over three years

Looking healthy and happier than ever, the Back to Black singer looked like a different woman as she posed for her fist promotional shot in over three years as she attempts to get her career back on track.

The trademark eyeliner and bouffant hair are still there but the singer appears to have turned a corner after finally kicking her well-documented drug habit.

The 27-year-old was regularly snapped looking gaunt and covered in cuts and bruises as recently as a year ago.

But after seeing a harrowing picture of herself last January, the singer now insists she has been drug-free for a year.

She told Look magazine: 'I've finally escaped from hell. Before I came out here I looked at a photo of myself in the paper and was horrified.

'My skin was a spotty mess and I was so pale and skinny. I thought: "Girl, you've got to sort yourself out or you'll be dead soon".'

But some old habits die hard and the singer has still been spotted enjoying nights out at her favourite north London haunt, The Hawley Arms.

Leaving the pub at 2am on Thursday night in her usual pin ballet pumps, Amy managed to look remarkably composed as she made her way to a waiting car.

2011 has been a jetsetting year for the star so far, with trips to Rio and Dubai already under her belt.

Earlier this month Amy travelled to Dubai where she performed at the Dubai Festical City Concert Arena.

The gig didn't go quite according to plan though, and the Valerie singer ended up being booed off stage.

Her spokesperson explained at the time: 'Amy had technical problems and couldn't hear herself during the gig. One of her in-ear monitors wasn't working properly.'

In January she performed in Rio De Janeiro, and stayed in the luxurious  £700-per-night Santa Teresa hotel.

Still with it: Even though she left the Hawley at 2am, the singer still looked composed
