Pro has 2 Cam setup Plus has 1. Pro has newer more better SD636 soc while Plus has older weaker SD625. Though both have same form factor & aluminum back.
Otherwise you shouldve done your research before buying or have it returned if false advertised.

I have a Redmi 5 Plus (Redmi Note 5) instead of this Redmi Note 5 Pro and there are a few things about this model that make me confused. First of all, this model receives an update to the Android version up to Android 10 compared to the Redmi 5 Plus which is limited to Android 8. Second, it comes with 18w fast charging which is good for a 4000mAh capacity battery which is much better than the Redmi 5 Plus which only comes with 10w charging and it takes around 2 hours 20 minutes to fully charge compared to 18w which only takes around 1 hour 20 minutes. Third, the optimization in this device is the opposite of the 5 Plus model because the Snapdragon 636 chipset in the next brand device can play at 30fps in PUBG Mobile, but the 5 Pro can only play at 25fps compared to the 5 Plus which can play at 30fps. Fourth, the video recording resolution is only 1080p30 compared to 2160p30 on the 5 Plus, the opposite is true as if they gave the wrong specifications for both device models. Fifth, the naming of a device does not match the quantity. Yes, the 5 Plus should be better named Note 5 only while the second 5 Plus or 5 Pro and the specifications match the two device names so as not to be confused or even disappointed.

Best phone to have!!!! The back cover is not glued so you can carefuly pry it up if the battery is dead & replace it with a new one w/c I have done recently & now phone is running 100% greate again!!!

Still use this badass mtf with arrow os android 11, smooth as hell. Just add gcam, and nothing can beat this.
