Su-jok

This is a very interesting method developed by South Korean scientist Professor Park Jae Woo is Su jok. Su means hand in Korean language & jok means foot.

Mankind has always used the knowledge of the relationship between different parts of the body for diagnosis or treatment. The example of such method is acupuncture, acupressure or iris diagnosis. The correspondence of the ear shape with the human embryo was noticed by the French physician Paul Nogier (see Aurikulotherapy), & he used this similarity to find healing points. There is a myriad of similarity systems in the human body that are energy copies of the whole organism or its part. They work on the principle of electromagnetic waves.

One of the most appropriate systems of correspondence is hand or foot. Its shape is the most similar to the human body. The human body consists of the trunk & five protruding parts – the head & the four limbs. Looking at the hand we can see the same thing, the palm as a trunk & the five fingers as five protruding limbs.

There are many ways of treatment through this correspondence system but one of the simplest, most enjoyable & natural methods is seed application. Attaching healthy seed to the painful points radiates biological waves. They send healing energy through the active points to the affected area of the body &, on the contrary, drain energy from it. Sometimes the seed is completely destroyed by absorption of “bad” energy. Plant seeds vary in appearance & properties, thus it is the same with their energy. The seeds for the treatment can be selected according to the shape, color & the properties of the plant from which it originates. All this will be used to harmonize the life processes within the body.

Su jok uses other simple aids of healing. I can mention moxing or heating of energy points, attaching magnets or massage with special aids (rings, bracelets, massage beads) among all possibilities.
