Competition: Win a Valigia bag by Antonio Berardi
Fashion designer Antonio Berardi may best be known for sensually tailored clothing, heel-less stilettos and brooding Latin charm, but his latest venture has him turning his hand to something a little different.
As part of a new creative partnership with Peroni, the Italian beer de rigueur, Berardi has designed Valigia - a limited-edition hold-all bag. Pulling on childhood trips to his native Sicily in the 1960s for inspiration, Berardi has designed the bag with la Dolce Vita-era Italian glamour firmly in mind.
The hold-all (pictured above) – handmade in Italy, naturally – is produced in hand-rolled chocolate brown Palmellato leather, and will no doubt prove an attractive mini-break alternative to ubiquitous monogrammed monstrosities.
Berardi has designed the interior of the case with set compartments for every essential, including a suit bag, a slot for shoes, and of course a separate spot for dirty laundry – perfect, should your finely tuned packing skills elude you at the last minute.
Wallpaper.com has got its hands on one of the first bags, and we thought it would only be fair to impart it’s leathery wisdom to one of our loyal readers.
Simply sign up to our newsletter at the bottom of this page and we'll send you details of how you can be entered into a draw to win one.
The competition will run up until the 11th September, so be sure to sign up before then.
