Rachel Bilson played a supporting role over the weekend. The O.C. and Hart of Dixie actress served as a bridesmaid in a friend’s wedding. While she’s yet to make it official herself—she and Hayden Christensen have been dating since 2007 and have a daughter together—this wasn’t her first rodeo. In June 2016, Bilson was a bridesmaid in her brother’s wedding.
She’s not the first celebrity to back up a friend tying the knot; Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Amy Schumer, and more A-listers have all pulled bridesmaid duty. Bilson took to social media to document the weekend’s festivities and congratulate the bride. First, she posted a GIF on Saturday of herself hamming it up with friends and captioning the shot “#AlwaysaBridesmaid.”

She also shared a full-length photo of herself and the bride. With a sweetheart neckline, off-the-shoulder sleeves, and a floor-sweeping hemline, her pale pink dress fit in all the right places and perfectly complemented her friend’s strapless gown with a deep illusion V-neck and full skirt.
