Junko Morita
Junko Morita slashes diagonal lines across the length of the canvas, fully bringing out the properties of the paint. Sometimes adding and sometimes subtracting in her work, she imbues her paintings with real feeling. With harsh cuts and and overlapping forms that emerge from the center of the canvas’s space, her paintings call the modern mindset into question.
