Dramatic moment bullfighter is gored in the bum by raging bull during brutal bout

THIS is the horrific moment a bullfighter's backside is brutally gored by a bull's horns.
French matador Juan Leal took the painful hit during a show at Las Ventas bullring in Madrid yesterday.

The violent goring took place on the 12th day of the San Isidro bullfighting Fair.
Horrific video footage shows the bull circle menacingly round the back of 26-year-old Leal.
Then, without warning, it ploughs its horns into him and throws him into the air as the crowd screams in terror.
Two men rushed to Leal's aid to distract the bull before it had another chance to gore him on the ground.
Leal can be seen hobbling away in pain from the animal as the onslaught mercifully comes to an end.
It's not yet clear how serious his injuries were, but local reports suggested he had to receive medical attention after the fight.
The young matador worked as a pizza delivery man when he was training to be a bullfighter.
Leal isn't the only matador to have made headlines with a painful public goring.
Last year, Jimenez Fortes was sent flying by a raging bull in Bilbao, Spain.

He'd previously been punctured twice in the neck in 2015, which nearly killed him.
And a 45-year-old matador named Jerez de la Frontera was scalped by a bull in 2018.
He'd also lost an eye against a bull in a previous fight.
