The Nutcracker may have been performed on stage countless times, but now Disney is bringing it to the big screen once more. Earlier this month, legendary dancer Misty Copeland made the exciting announcement on Instagram that she'd be a part of the production, as the lead ballerina. (It's unclear whether that means she'll be the Sugar Plum Fairy.) And now, (July 27) Variety reports Twilight's Mackenzie Foy will join Misty as the movie's star.

Mackenzie will play Clara, the young girl who gets transported into a fantasy world full of magical toys. There is currently no release date yet for The Nutcracker and the Four Realms, but prepare to be amazed. With these two incredible ladies already signed up, the movie will be nothing short of amazing. It'll be exciting who will be announced as a member of the cast next — or how they'll translate the beloved performance into a brand-new story.
