Sunny Harvest Helpers

Emma and Lily start their day in the garden.
The sun smiled down on Emma and Lily as they stepped into their garden. The air was fresh, and the birds were singing. Today, they were going to plant carrots.
Planting carrot seeds, Emma is excited.
With tiny shovels in hand, the girls dug small holes in the soft earth. They carefully dropped one carrot seed into each hole. 'These will be yummy!' said Emma.
Lily agrees with Emma on caring for the carrots.
Lily nodded and smiled. 'We have to make sure they get plenty of sunshine and water!' The girls knew that working together made the work easier.
The girls prepare to plant radishes, enjoying teamwork.
They moved on to the next task: digging rows. 'Radishes are next,' Lily declared. They giggled as they created perfect lines in the soil.
A ladybug joins, the girls are delighted.
As they planted, a ladybug landed on Lily's hand. 'Look, Emma! A friend has come to help us.' Emma laughed. 'The more, the merrier!'
Imagining the future radishes, planting with care.
With the ladybug watching, they planted radish seeds with care. They talked about how big and red the radishes would grow. 'Can't wait to eat them!' Emma said.
Working hard in the growing warmth of the sun.
The sun rose higher, and their foreheads grew damp. They wiped sweat away but kept smiling. 'It's a good day to plant,' said Lily, squinting up at the sky.
Their mother calls, breakfast is ready.
Suddenly, their mother's voice carried across the yard. 'Girls, breakfast is ready!' The smell of pancakes wafted to them, mixing with the scent of dirt and growth.
Deciding to pause work for breakfast.
Emma and Lily glanced at each other and then at their half-finished row. 'Let's go. We can come back after eating,' said Emma, patting the soil off her hands.
Enjoying breakfast, planning continues.
They headed inside, where warm pancakes and cold milk awaited. As they ate, they planned their garden's future. 'We'll need a scarecrow!' Lily exclaimed.
Returning to the garden, feeling the bond of friendship.
After breakfast, they returned to the garden. The ladybug was gone, but their friendship filled the space. Together, hands in the soil, they finished planting.
Completing the task, feeling accomplished.
With the last radish seed in place, they high-fived. 'We did it! Our garden will be beautiful,' Emma beamed. Lily nodded. 'And we did it together.'
