Seiko Group Corporation (Chairman & Group CEO, CCO: Shinji Hattori; head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Japan; hereinafter "Seiko"), in celebration of Disney's 100th anniversary, is pleased to announce a limited-time event from October 5 to November 18, to celebrate Mickey Mouse's birthday. To commemorate this unique occasion, the 2.4-meter diameter dial of the clock tower atop Seiko House Ginza will be decorated with a special Mickey Mouse design. Furthermore, on the opposite side of the intersection, the clock facing the rooftop of Seiko House Ginza will feature the same design.
Situated at one of the best-known intersections in Tokyo, the Seiko House Ginza clock tower has been a landmark in Ginza since 1894, when the original edifice was built. The newer, second generation clock tower was completed in 1932, and has continued to be a familiar icon of both the Ginza district and the city of Tokyo itself.
As part of this special event, we are excited to offer a unique opportunity to participate in a lottery and gain exclusive access to the normally restricted rooftop of Seiko House Ginza. This extraordinary experience will allow lucky people to take commemorative photos with the once-in-a-century Mickey Mouse dial in the background.

Moments of Magic at the Clock Tower exhibition and sales event

Mickey to be featured in Wako’s display window
Together with this event, Mickey Mouse artwork will adorn the central display window on the first floor of Seiko House Ginza.

Moments of Magic at the Clock Tower
Moments of Magic at the Clock Tower, an exhibition and sales event centered around the theme "Disney for adults," is scheduled to take place at Seiko House Ginza Hall from August 10 to 27.
Apart from the exclusive Grand Seiko Disney 100th Anniversary Limited Edition watch and high-end mechanical clocks, a wide variety of special limited-edition products such as bags, clothing, jewelry, and other unique items exclusively found at Wako will also be available for purchase during the event. In addition, there will be an original photo spot set up at the venue for visitors to enjoy.

Picture Plate Clock: Redecorated Seiko House Ginza Clock Tower Design with Mickey Mouse
To celebrate the redesign of the clock tower dial with an image of Mickey Mouse, Seiko Time Creation Inc. will release two limited-edition models of picture plate clocks, also featuring Mickey Mouse, on August 10. These exquisite clocks are crafted from fine porcelain by the renowned ceramic manufacturer Okura Art China, Inc. Each will come with a complementary mini-plate showcasing the FS802W design.
Both clock models will be available at the Moments of Magic at the Clock Tower event at Seiko House Ginza Hall and also at the Wako online store and the Seiko Clock online store.
