Konark Sun temple in Odisha, India is a very famous 13th-century CE sun temple. The temple was built by king Narasimhadeva I of Eastern Ganga Dynasty. The temple complex is in the shape of a gigantic chariot, having elaborately carved stone wheels, pillars and walls.A major part of the structure is now in ruins. Here is a replica of one of the chariot wheels which is kept outside one of the very famous hotels of Puri, Odisha for people to appreciate the beauty of these sculptures.
