WOLFEBORO — Police have charged Demosthenes Macheras, of Pelham, with helping another boater flee the scene of a crash in Winter Harbor last year.

LACONIA — Police responded to 224 service calls from 8 a.m. March 1, through 9 a.m. March 6.
PLYMOUTH — Saturday night was playing out like a nightmare for Steve Southworth, general manager of the Flying Monkey theater. He had a nearly full house, and the headliner’s second set was just starting, when an employee reported smelling something troubling.
MEREDITH — Police are seeking court permission to access the vehicle computers involved in a crash that resulted in the death of two people.
LAKEPORT — A wide area around Union Avenue in Lakeport was without power for a short period Friday afternoon, after Eversource cut power to the neighborhood following a utility pole which caught fire near Irwin Marine.
