ACTOR JAMES MCCAFFREY DIES AT 65

The news was confirmed by the actor's agent, David Elliot, on Monday.

James died in New York on Sunday, and was surrounded by his close friends and family members in his last moments, the agent told the media.

As per Variety, James McCaffrey died due to cancer. He was suffering from a rare type of cancer that affects the bone marrow called multiple myeloma.

"I was lying next to him and holding his hand when he took his last breath, for which I will forever be grateful. His passing is devastating to so many," James' wife Rochelle Bostr¶m told Fox News Digital.

ABOUT THE ACTOR

McCaffrey had worked for over three decades in televison and film medium. He is known for his appearances in shows such as Sex and the City, Law & Order: Criminal Intent and White Collar among more.
