Full House fans, it's time for Jesse Katsopolis to tell his story.

On September 14, John Stamos announced he's stepping into the literature world with the release of a new memoir coming out next fall. Titled If You Would Have Told Me, the book will tell the Fuller House actor's life from the stages of Hollywood to first-time parenthood with his wife, Caitlin McHugh.

"'If You Would Have Told Me’ is the book I never planned to write," he wrote on Instagram. "But after losing Bob [Saget], finally becoming a father, and wanting to honor all the colorful people who have made me who I am today, I figured if not now, when? Hollywood, fame, fortune and f---ups."

When the news broke, John's celebrity friends immediately reached out to him in his Instagram comments section with excited and encouraging messages. Among those reaching out to him was his wife of four years. "So proud of you! ❤️," Caitlin wrote.

"Congratulations! I can’t wait to read it! ❤️," former Full House co-star Candace Cameron Bure added. "Can't wait to read. Mine is 'what I didn’t know I didn’t know,'" Kristin Chenoweth joked on behalf of her fiancé Josh Bryant.

Unsurprisingly, Full House fans were just as ecstatic about his next career move. "Beautiful!!! What an accomplishment! Congratulations ❤️," one fan commented. "My [favorite] book and it’s not even released yet. Big tears coming in 2023 😢," another added. "Wicked excited to read it!! You’re more than Uncle Jesse and the world will soon know that too!" a different follower said.

As for what John plans to write about in the book, Deadline reported that he plans on walking fans through important moments from his life, which include becoming an overnight sensation on General Hospital, his continued connections with the Full House cast (such as Lori Loughlin) and what it's like to now be closely associated with legendary band The Beach Boys.

"While writing this book I’ve realized I have about a million stories to tell, and I think you may like at least four hundred of them," he continued on Instagram. "It has been cathartic and healing and sometimes heartbreaking to dig in and reveal so much. This book is something between a confession and a challenge to find grace in the smallest moments of our lives."
