All the Best Deals for National Cheeseburger Day, Including a .50 Cent Double Cheeseburger at McDonald's

It’s usually about 4 p.m. when the Sunday Scaries hit hard, and by 5 p.m., we’re usually full-on freaked out about … everything that could happen on Monday morning. But there’s actually something to look forward to this coming Monday, September 18, because it’s National Cheeseburger Day. And there are a trio of great deals to be had. How good? Well, if you want to go hard on this very real holiday, then you could theoretically snag three burgers at three restaurants for just $1.51. 

First up, McDonald’s is offering its Double Cheeseburger for just 50 cents — that’s right, for two quarters — at any participating U.S. location. To get this deal, you’ll just need to hit up your closest set of Golden Arches and place your order through the McDonald’s app. No additional purchase is necessary, but you will have to sign up for the app if you’re not on it already. This offer is limited to one double cheeseburger per customer, and it’s good on Monday only. 

Next, between Monday, September 18, and Friday, September 22, Wendy’s customers can pick up a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger for just one penny with any purchase. To take advantage of this deal, you’ll need to visit the “Offers” section in the Wendy’s app or through the Wendy’s Rewards section of its website. 

TODAY notes that this offer can only be accessed through the Wendy’s app or through the website, and it is not valid on delivery orders or through any third-party delivery apps. If you’re cool with that, you could theoretically spend one shiny (digital) nickel and get a one-cent Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger on five straight days next week. 

Don’t worry, Burger King fans. The King isn’t going to leave you hanging. On Monday, September 18, Burger King is giving away FREE cheeseburgers with any purchase of $1 or more. Like the other offers, you must be a member of its RoyalPerks loyalty program to claim this offer, but you can sign up in advance through the Burger King app or on the chain’s website.

Burger King isn’t stopping on Monday. It has a full week of offers for RoyalPerks members. On Tuesday, September 19, you can get a free Whopper Jr. with any purchase of $1 or more. The next two days are all about the OG Whopper: on Wednesday, September 20, the original Whopper is just $3 —  no other purchase is required — and on Thursday, September 21, Whoppers are Buy One, Get One Free. On Friday, you can score a free order of Onion Rings with any $1 purchase. Saturday, September 23 is the day to take the whole fam to BK, because it’s offering a $22 Family Bundle, which comes with two Whoppers, two Chicken Sandwiches, and two eight-piece chicken nuggets. Finally, on Sunday, September 24, RoyalPerks members will earn double rewards on any purchase.
