Handmade custom designed professional 8 string Greek bouzouki made by master luthier D. Polydorou

Characterisitics

Body: Made from 60 stripes of solid selected Greek black walnut with maple veneer between the stripes and white pearl binding. Also marqueterie with pearl & abalone on the sides and the bottom of the body

Top; Made from solid European spruce master quality, and a bouble binding, piece by piece, made from pearl and abalone

Inlay: Full size marqueterie with pearl and abalone, carved inside the top

Soundhole: Classic style made from abalone

Neck: Made of maple reinforced with African wenge, 5 pieces in total and a truss rod installed for easy set up

Fingerboard: Made from solid ebony with white pearl binding on the sides and pearl/abalone inlays carved in

Bridge: Made from solid ebony decorated with abalone

Nuts: Made of bone

Headstock: Made of maple inlayed

Machine heads: Grover in nickel colour

Finish: High gloss

Scale length: 67 cm or 26 3/8 in

Total lenght: 100 cm or 39 3/8 in (approximately)
