This pedal sports all the features of the Clyde standard with notable enhancements that make it a versatile guitar effects pedal. It's designed to greatly expand your ability define your own custom vibe. When you fire up the pilot light on this wah, be prepared to experience a high-quality accessory for your guitar. Originally manufactured by Vox, the Clyde has been reissued by Fulltone to meet the needs of the next generation of guitarists. Trumpet player Clyde McCoy was the inspiration for this device due to his trumpet's distinct muted wah-wah tones; that same tone is rendered perfectly by this pedal for electric guitars. The Fulltone Clyde Deluxe produces a dynamic wall of sound. Like the vintage wah pedals of the '60s and '70s, this deluxe version is a classic take on the effects of the older model that Fulltone fans love. In addition to the features that made the original wahs famous, the Deluxe boasts 10-step variable input level control as well as a true-bypass feature. This allows guitarists to route sound directly to the amp when desired for the crisp, clean, true sound that audiences crave. Guitars wail with vibrant tonality all the way from bass to treble when amps are connected to this unit. Another feature that distinguishes this pedal is the selection of three play modes. Jimi, the default mode for Clyde pedals, is included. The addition of side-viewable Wacked and Shaft modes gives guitarists the opportunity to experiment with their sound and create the type of wah tones that are suitable for styles ranging from classic funk to heavy metal. The ability to customize and switch tones with this model has been taken to the extreme. The result is a unit that performs as well under the stage lights as it does in the studio. It can even be used with home recording equipment and digital audio workstations to add vast amounts of texture to your next music project.Proprietary components are what truly help these pedals stand out. When Fulltone decided to replicate the original, they began by assembling more than 25 vintage Vox units and studying their construction. These models benefit from the addition of some of the quietest inductors, the hand-wound MuMetal shielded Fulltone 500mH unit. This inductor virtually eliminates the presence of white noise or a hum that can distract from the purity of your music. It is even quiet enough to be used with acoustic guitars that have a pickup.Another unique feature is the use of Fulltone's own wah pot, which was designed to offer longer life than standard pots. You'll be rocking with the Clyde for years. The treadle can store and retain the perfect amount of tension, making it a valuable piece of gear. Whether you want to reproduce the sounds of "Voodoo Chile" or just spice up your original solos, this pedal is reliable and consistent in its delivery of unique tones.

My first Clyde wa!
I’m a working musician 4 days a week, my impression of this pedal is, It’s well worth it to buy it, I have atleast 120 wahs and that Dunlop to miestro boomers to color sound and Dan electro to exotic wahs . The Fulltone deluxe pedal still has a place of it own, very sturdy, solid switches, no loose wires or cheap inductors with scratching. Very user friendly and a good sweep for solo tones. I highly recommend when your able to pay at least 170.00 or higher please buy it. It will not disappoint. You can get lucky sometimes and find them on eBay under 200.00. If you see one cheaper snatch it. True bypass, led light when it’s on, buffer for those crazy distortions we use and it’s own wha input volume to overdrive your pre amp and not your clean amp.

Fulltone Clyde Deluxe Wha Pedal
This is a wha pedal that can give you whatever you are looking for in a wha pedal. With the three types of wha characteristic switch you have a lot of choices. Add to it's buffered output, switchable on / off, and input volume control makes it even more desirable! Built like a tank. Also has capability to adjust the pedal resistance / action. Pricey, but well worth it.

My fulltone clyde deluxe wah
Ive had a few dunlop crybabys, vox wahs, (not the vintage stuff),but the fulltone clyde deluxe wah blows the other guys away. Bigtime difference in tone and that balsey wah. Put s my playing over the edge. I really wanted this for a long time but didnt have the cash . Ebay made it so easy. Im so glad i finally got a fulltone. Made to take it and built in the u.s.a..jj canchola
