Product Information
Composed when Mozart was only 24, IDEOMENEO has historically been one of the master's less frequently-performed works. Yet it can be seen to exhibit certain breakthrough aspects which foreshadow the composer's later masterpieces, and was in its day a very progressive opera. This outstanding performance took place at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples, the renowned cast of was directed by Pier Luigi Pizzi, and conducted by Marco Guidarini.

This is an excellent seller. The US mail had a nervous breakdown and was sending this poor CD back and forth between the west and east coasts. After about ten days I asked for a refund and almostly immediately he obliged. Now that it has finally arrived I will pay for it again. Never had this problem before.
