Maura Higgins' mystery man REVEALED: Love Island star is dating Underworld actor Bradley James, 37

And, MailOnline can reveal Maura Higgins, 29, is now dating Underworld actor Bradley James, 37, after the pair stepped out together in London's Mayfair, on Tuesday evening.

The hunky movie star - who boasts an impressive 488k Instagram followers - first shot to fame in 2008 when he landed the role as the young King Arthur in BBC TV series Merlin.

The Love Island star looked sensational as she highlighted her toned frame in a bright pink mini-dress as she enjoyed a date night at swanky eatery Amazonico with the hunky movie star. 

Although born in Devon, England, and initially living in Wiltshire, he moved to his father's homeland America at an early age. 

He returned from Florida to England as a teenager, shortly before beginning his classical training at the Drama Centre London. 

Following his starring role in Merlin, in 2015 Bradley was cast as the male villain, Varga, in Underworld: Blood Wars, alongside A-listers Kate Beckinsale and Charles Dance.

Sports fan Bradley then took on the lead in Omen-based TV series Damien, in 2016, and in 2017 James was cast as Giuliano de' Medici in Medici: The Magnificent.

In 2018, Bradley landed the lead roll of American War hero Brigadier General Felix Sparks in Netflix's four-part World War II drama series The Liberator, which is slated for release on November 11.

The Arsenal FC supporter - who boasts Fleabag actress Sian Clifford as a friend - now divides his time between London and Los Angeles. 

On Tuesday night, Maura exuded style in her tiny pink dress for her date with Bradley, letting her poker straight tresses flick over her shoulders as she turned to flash a smile at her actor beau.

Meanwhile, Bradley kept things more casual for the evening out in a pair of denim jeans and a white jumper under a stylish black jacket. 

MailOnline has contacted Bradley James and Maura Higgins' representatives for comment.  

Their new romance comes after Dancing On Ice star Maura played down her 'man-eater' reputation by admitting she's 'only ever been on one date' and is 'scared' to meet a new boyfriend.

Speaking to MailOnline recently, she said: 'I am ready to start dating again. But the thing is I've only ever been on one date aside from Love Island.

'I know we did a lot of dating on the show but you're in a completely different environment.

'Putting that aside, I've been on one date and that was with the guy I was with before Love Island, so I'm not used to the dating scene at all.

'I'm 29 and I've been on one date! When I think of it like that it's quite scary. 

'I would be a nervous wreck on a date, which sounds crazy because I'm a confident woman but I wouldn't know what to do myself.'

The star split from ex Curtis Pritchard back in March after they coupled up during last year's series of Love Island.

Since splitting from her former beau, Maura has sparked speculation she was involved with another co-star Chris Hughes.

In pictures obtained by The Sun, the pair were seen returning to his flat after a night out in September.

And although saying their relationship is purely platonic they did little to stop talk when they flirted up a storm on Love Island: What Happened Next.

Speaking during a confessional Maura admitted she regularly gets asked about their relationship, and said: 'I get so many messages about me and Chris!'

The beauty left Chris, 30, feeling hot under the collar as she joked that she needs a 'good sticking' due to her lacklustre dating life in lockdown. 

While Maura also joked during the show that the pair could: 'Some day we might be friends with benefits, who knows!'

She was also linked to her Dancing on Ice pro partner Alex Demetriou, 29, after competing in the show earlier this year. 

Maura was still dating Curtis at the time while Alexander was married to fellow skater Carlotta Edwards. 

Curtis and Maura split up - although she always denied any romance with her pro partner. And in April, shortly after the series concluded, so did Alexander and Carlotta.  

Alexander and Carlotta have been axed from the line-up of the upcoming series and have been replaced with another married duo, Andy Buchanan and Robin Johnstone.
