I have purchased Japanese made clothing enough that I know being a "medium" in most US shirt sizes, I needed a LARGE in Japanese clothing sizes. Noting this, the fit is excellent.
If you are looking for a thick warm cardigan. This will not work for your purposes.

I would have liked it a little roomier but I ordered a medium and it fit. Also expected it to be a thicker Material.

My photo is of the back, interior side of the garment to show it's really very quality embroidery. Unfortunately it's cotton so it'll wrinkle and be unusable unless ironed. I dress this way 'cus it typically doesn't require work. I hate ironing clothes. Go with modern fabrics or silk or heck even nylon. This garment best suits only the thinnest of people despite them producing a variety of sizes.
