Manufacturer claims this is a 12,000 Watt generator but if you read the description, it's a 10,000 Peak Watt generator. I started to ask them why the said it was a 12,000 Watt generator when they admit it is not. Somebody else had already asked the question before me. They said it was a "common industry practice" to overrate generators. I'm sorry but, if they are willing to lie about that, what else are they lying about? It's ok to list Surge Watts higher than Running Watts but they already said the Surge Watts are only 10,000. Amazon needs to police things like this better. Just lost a sale, I need an actual 12,000 Watt generator.
