Differences in matzo are subtle. After all, the only ingredients are wheat and water. This one stands apart. Although whole wheat the flour is ground so fine before baking that it isn’t grainy. It’s baked just dark enough to highlight caramelization without overbaking. The caramelization and perhaps the type of wheat and its freshness bring out a coconut-like sweetness without containing any coconut or oil. This matzo is also thinner than other brands, so its crisp and crunchy. It was well packed, so all of the sheets are intact. Aviv is now our preferred brand.

try it,you'll love it.
1 c matzo, 1/4 c schmultz (chicken fat, or use coconut oil, shortening,or lard)
1/4 c chicken stock, 4 eggs, 2 T parsley, 2 T ginger, 1 t salt, (if you wish to add 1 T extra of garlic or parm go ahead)
mix all together,put in fridg overnite. Then roll into balls, about the size of half a ping pong ball. Boil in salted water for 30 minutes. Less salt is more. Then add to your soup or what ever. Remember it's like a pasta. Ypu can put them in a fridg for 2 weeks.

Though the expiration on this matzo meal is 2/21 it was stale when I opened it. Thinking maybe the staleness might cook out of them, I made matzo balls for soup. It did not. A complete waste of time and money. A disappointed family for our big chicken soup with matzo balls meal. The name of the company that sells this on amazon is Only Quality Food. I think they should re-examine their “quality” product line, or re-examine the name of their company.
