ΑΕΚ FC defeated PAOK FC by 2-0  at OPAP ARENA, Nea Philadelphia, in a game of Matchday 9 of STOIXIMAN SUPER LEAGUE 2023-24.

It was a night of absolute dominance for AEK who lost their first big chance in the 12th minute with a header by Ezequiel Ponce which hit the crossbar. In the 17th minute, however, Matias Almeyda's team scored the opener after a diagonal pass by Petros Mantalos from the right side to the left to Orbelin Pined who made it 1-0 with a diving header!

AEK had the control of the game in the second half as well and were not threatened at all by their opponents. AEK secured the victory in the 54th minute, when COSMOTE MVP Damian Szymanski made a cross from the left and Niklas Eliasson received it to made it 2-0 with a low shot.
