The Cliffs is growing!

We’ve recently opened three 2-bedroom bungalows with all of the best cabin vibes and views. Clad inside and out with cedar, large picture windows facing a mature forest view, a deck with a sunken hot tub, and decorated to the same caliber that you’ve seen in our original lodge at The Cliffs. The bungalows are adjacent to the new Sandstone Falls and the recently completed Lookout, which is an 800 square foot common area overlooking the falls. The falls and Lookout are open to all bungalow guests, which means that currently they are only available to guests in our three 2-bedroom units. We do plan to open an additional 3-bedroom bungalow that will also be able to access the falls and Lookout once completed.

Each 2-bedroom bungalow sleeps four guests, with a king bedroom and a queen bedroom. We have designed the bungalows to feel ideal for a group of four adults, a small family, or a couple. Renting multiple bungalows is a fantastic option for larger groups.

The 2-bedroom bungalows are situated close together but oriented for maximum privacy including the outdoor deck and hot tub.

Guests at the bungalows will not have any access to the private waterfall and swimming hole at Cantwell Lodge. However the bungalows are adjacent to Sandstone Falls, which is the newest addition at The Cliffs. This natural swimming pond is built into the sandstone cliffs and contains a series of waterfalls.

Bungalow guests will park in a shared parking area that is accessible to each bungalow by boardwalk and a set of staircases. Unfortunately ramp access is not possible.

The 2025 bungalow calendar will open on Saturday, February 17th. Please pre-register to book by February 15th.

All 3 bungalows are identical. They each contain a king bedroom, a smaller queen bedroom, and one bathroom. They each have a deck with a sunken hot tub and gorgeous views!

All three bungalows are located next to one another with approximately 15’ of space between each dwelling. Although they are close together they are oriented for maximum privacy while inside the bungalow or enjoying the outdoor space.

The entire Cliffs property is nearly 100 acres. We’re currently working to build out over 2 miles of trails that all guests at The Cliffs can enjoy.

We provide a small kitchen that contains a range, dishwasher, cookware, a high-end coffee maker and beans, and everything else that most guests will require.

We provide all bedding and towels along with extras for our guests. The Bungalows are equipped with satellite internet and an entertainment setup with streaming services.

There is a gas grill at the Lookout that is accessible to all bungalow guests.

Yes! We have recently opened Sandstone Falls, which is a completely unique natural swimming pond built into the gorgeous sandstone on our property. There is a large deck surrounding the falls. The Lookout is an 800 square foot common building overlooking The Falls that we opening during the summer of 2023. Sandstone Falls and The Lookout are adjacent to the bungalows.

We plan to keep this new water feature open from May-October. However because of the integration with the stone and waterfalls guests should not expect a swimmable temperature in the cooler months, particularly May & October. In the cooler months you can think of Sandstone Falls as a completely unique cold plunge experience.

We have a strict guest count of 4 people for each bungalow. This includes all guests aged 24 months and older.

Guest check in is at 4 PM and check out is at 11 AM. You will receive instructions and an electronic code to unlock the door in your welcome materials.

We limit check in and check out days to Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. This means that weekend stays are Friday - Monday. There is no limit on the length of reservation subject to availability. As open dates approach we may allow for a check in or check out on an alternative day.

We have a strict no pets policy.

At this time we do not offer a senior or military discount.

At this time we do not allow weddings or large events at The Cliffs. No guests outside of your reservation are permitted on the premises during your booking.

Kroger in Logan, OH is located 12 minutes from The Cliffs. Walmart in Logan, OH is also located 12 minutes from The Cliffs.

Cell service can be spotty at the bungalows, but most people will have limited cell service.

All unsupervised guests must be 18 years of age or older.

The bungalows are not child-proofed or child friendly. We expect to have many guests stay with children, but it’s important for children to be supervised during their stay. The terrain at The Cliffs is beautiful but it is unsafe for unsupervised children.

For guests inclined to explore The Hocking Hills area there are numerous activities available. The Cliffs is minutes from Cantwell Cliffs and not far from Rock House, Conkle’s Hollow, Old Man’s Cave, and Ash Cave. Many other activities like zip lining, mini golf, horse back riding, canoeing, and fishing are also available nearby.
