The Sweetest Shots of John Stamos' Son Billy

A Special Bond

John Stamos made his house a little "fuller" in April 2018 when he and wife Caitlin McHugh welcomed son Billy, named after the actor's late father.

"From now on, the best part of me will always be my wife and my son," Stamos shared with fans when introducing Billy to the world.

In early 2023, father and son shared the mic, with Dad captioning the shot, "Mi Corazon."

High Energy

The Stamos family rang in 2023 with some silly antics orchestrated by Billy and recorded by Mom and Dad. In an Instagram Reel posted by John, the 4½-year-old gets goofy on camera, jumping around the frame and even on top of his parents.

"HAPPY NEW YEAR from THE STAMI CLAN #graceandgratitude," wrote the You star in his caption.

The Big Apple

In December 2022, Stamos and his mini-me ventured to N.Y.C. for a wintery trip. In a series of photos posted by the actor, little Billy can be seen bundled up in a teal beanie and a number of stylish coats.

One shot features the father-son duo seated together, staring into the camera with twin curious gazes.

Son of a Star

Billy Stamos looked to be beaming with pride in November 2022, when he visited his dad's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The Full House star captured the moment and posted it to Instagram, where his wife and Billy's mom Caitlin McHugh commented, "Daddy's biggest littlest fan ❤️"

Time Flies

Billy and Dad smiled together to mark a major milestone. The 4-year-old headed back to the classroom after a sunny season of fun.

"One of us is starting his first day at school," wrote Stamos. "And the other is doing everything in his power not to cry."

Superheroes and Superdad

Billy looked to be having the best summer ever at Disney California Adventure's Spider-Man Day in August 2022. He celebrated the world of Marvel with Mom and Dad, riding theme parks rides and posing for photos with the likes of Spider-Man and Iron Man.

While it may have been an especially Marvel-ous Monday, hanging out with a superhero isn't all that unusual for Stamos' son. The actor voices Iron Man/Tony Stark in the season 2 premiere of Disney Junior's animated series Spidey and His Amazing Friends.

Broadway Buds

Taking Billy to see The Lion King in late 2021, Stamos reflected upon his first Broadway experience and the feelings that came with it.

"I'm not crying, you are," Stamos wrote on Billy's first day of preschool.

While touring with the Beach Boys outside Chicago in August 2019, Stamos gave his son the ultimate meet-and-greet, with Ringo Starr. "His mantra #PeaceandLove is needed more today than yesterday.#enoughisenough," Stamos captioned the shot, tying it to the tragic mass shootings that happened that weekend.

Who wore it better? Stamos looked like a proud papa while twinning with his mini-me, who wore a matching white button down and tried on his dad's sunglasses for a picture. "If you're having girl problems, I feel bad for you son..." Stamos captioned the shot, quoting JAY-Z's "99 Problems."

Flying High

Billy took in the sights as he and his dad flew to Washington, D.C., ahead of the Fourth of July, where Stamos hosted PBS' annual broadcast A Capitol Fourth.

In one of the photos, the new dad gave his grinning boy a sweet smooch while visiting a place that's near and dear to his wife's heart -Walt Disney World. Stamos proposed to McHugh at the Happiest Place on Earth after they learned about their baby on the way, and the couple later spent their honeymoon there.

Water Boys

Stamos shared a sweet picture of himself hitting the water with his baby son on Oct. 9. In the adorable snap, the actor held Billy in what appeared to be a pool. The baby's face wasn't visible because of his sun hat.

The Fuller House star captioned the photo, "Some days are just better than others."

"The Stamos boys take Manhattan," the actor wrote on Instagram alongside a pic of the pair's day on the town. Billy just couldn't wait to check out the sights - or snooze on Dad, one of the two.
