John Stamos and wife Caitlin McHugh had an interesting delivery with their son, Billy.
Stamos, a self-proclaimed “baby whisperer,” described the wacky situation to People.
The actor, 55, said McHugh, 32, went to the doctor because she was experiencing contractions. However, it turned out to be a false alarm.
“The doctor said, ‘Why don’t you go home and have a glass of wine?’” Stamos said. “She normally doesn’t drink and hadn’t for months.”
She had a glass a wine and that may have gotten the baby moving because she went into labor.
“She was hammered,” Stamos said of his wife at the time.
“It was basically a Slip ’n Slide,” McHugh laughed.
One year later, the couple, who tied the knot in February 2018, are having a ball with their son.
McHugh said, “All we talk about now is baby poo.” Stamos chimed in, “I waited a long time for a kid. He can poo and pee on me all he wants.”
Last year, Stamos recalled how fatherhood was putting a damper on his sex life.
“We try to do it fast, and start hearing this ‘wah wah,’” Stamos quipped. “He screeches like ‘Saved by the Bell’ and that ruined the mood.”
