Tamara Ecclestone, hubby post cryptic messages in wake of $66 million jewelry heist

Formula One heiress Tamara Ecclestone and her hubby both shared cryptic messages on social media about “lying” following a $66 million jewelry heist at their sprawling London home.

Three burglars allegedly ransacked their home in Kensington during a 50-minute raid Friday night, just hours after the couple left on a private jet for the Christmas holiday, the Sun reported.

As cops hunt for the suspects, her 38-year-old husband, Jay Rutland, posted a meme on Instagram of Leonardo DiCaprio offering a toast, with the words: “I know you are lying but continue.”

Meanwhile, the 35-year-old heiress appeared to hint that she knows someone is hiding the truth, sharing the Bible passage Luke 8:17 in an Instagram post.

“For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open,” the post read.

No one has been arrested in the case, but her father, former F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone, said he believes the episode was an inside job.

“I don’t have all the facts but given all the security at the house, I’m assuming it was an inside job,” he told the Sun.

The trio of burglars allegedly broke into the 57-room mansion through the garden, then made a beeline for the safes hidden in Tamara and her husband’s separate dressing rooms, sources told the Sun.

“Whoever did this was in the house for 50 minutes in total and had time to smash open the safes that are hidden in Tamara’s dressing room and Jay’s dressing room,” a source told the Sun. “Neither would be easy to find.”

The threesome reportedly fled with precious rings, earrings and a $105,000 Cartier bangle that was given to Tamara as a wedding present.

“Every single piece of jewelry that she had in her safe has gone and some of them had such personal meaning,” the insider said.

It’s possible that the thieves were monitoring the heiress’ Instagram account, where she posted a photo Friday of her family boarding a private jet to Lapland, Finland, shortly before the heist.

“Pretty excited the holidays are here,” she wrote.

A spokesperson for Tamara said the family was safe following the ordeal.

“Tamara and family are well but obviously angry and shaken by the incident,” the statement said.
