20 September 2022, Lund, Sweden
We spent the day in Lund, Sweden after Tiffany attended Rotary.

Lund Cathedral — built in the 1100s and remodeled, built onto, etc., over the ages. As all Swedish churches, it started out Catholic and became Lutheran when Sweden completed its transformation from Catholic to Protestant by the end of the 1500. Until 1858, conversion to Catholicism could be punished by exile.
11 ft-tall, seven-branched candelabra
The 4 statues on the candelabra represent Matthew, Mark, Luke & John.

While Tif worked, Steve and Nicholas explored, including riding in a 100-year-old elevator.
Statues in the history museum
Tif met Henry, a shoemaker, at the Rotary meeting. He invited us to his shop where he explained how he makes orthotics and repairs shoes. Thanks for the great education, Henry!
Our last stop in Lund was the municipal building where we had a Nika (snack/tea) with Astrid.
She booked a conference room with a great view of the city and we had a very nice chat. She even had hot chocolate for Nicholas! Thanks for the great fika!
