To celebrate National Cheeseburger Day (September 18), McDonald’s is set to offer Double Cheeseburgers for just $0.50 USD.

The amazing promotion is part of the fast-food chain’s ongoing efforts to push its recently launched MyMcDonald’s Rewards program. Available to first-time users only, the National Cheeseburger Day celebration will allow you to enjoy a classic Double Cheeseburger for only two quarters.

Simply open the McDonald’s app and sign up for MyMcDonald’s Rewards program, then order a Double Cheeseburger for $0.50 USD.

The Double Cheeseburger was originally introduced as a promotional item throughout the United States in the 1950s and was only added to the regular menu in 1965, but it was not actively advertised on menu boards until later.
