Yahoo Lifestyle Rose Byrne On Oroton, Style And Bridesmaids

Rose Byrne is in town for only a few days, but she's making the most of it. Aside from seeing her family and soaking up some sunshine, she's also shooting her second campaign for Oroton, a brand she partnered with because of its relaxed, glamorous aesthetic.
"It's a real honour to be the face of Oroton," Byrne tells marie claire at an event held at the brand's QVB store. "I grew up with it like every Australian girl, so I feel akin to it."
Byrne is impeccably dressed in a chic white shift dress and an accompanying clutch (both Oroton of course), but she laughs when we tell her she lands on our best-dressed list often.
"I'm glad I'm on that, much better than being on the worst dressed list! I work with a really great stylist for the red carpet because it's such a beauty pageant. It's fun, but It's important not to take it too seriously.
"My stylist has access to a lot of great designers, and I really enjoy the collaborative aspect of it. I wore this great Calvin Klein piece that we worked with the brand on and that was wonderful."
We can't resist asking her about Bridesmaids, which she's happy to spill the beans on. How did she feel about playing Helen?
"She was such a fun character," Byrne says. "She was one of those delicious roles that don't come along very often. I enjoyed it so much. The status she had and how much she delighted in other people's misery was just hilarious. We had a ball filming that movie."
Inside the store, guests flock to the star to take pictures and have a chat with the A-list actress. She's happy to accommodate before jumping on stage to answer questions about her brand ambassador role.
When she and Oroton's creative director tag team each other with answers, Byrne stops and says, "I feel like I'm in Bridesmaids right now," causing the audience to erupt into laughter.
It's this approachability that makes Byrne the perfect fit for Oroton. The brand has built its ethos on relaxed luxury and timeless style, which Byrne has in spades.
