The PXIe-7965R, a FlexRIO PXIe FPGA Module by National Instruments, is equipped with 32 DMA interruption channels and 16 DMA channels (Part Number: 781207-01). It boasts a Virtex-5 FPGA (SX95T) and two separate 256 MB DRAM banks. This enables the module to facilitate data transfer rates reaching 1 Gb/s in differential mode and 400 Mb/s in single-ended mode. This model comes with 66 differential pairs, which can be adapted into 132 single-ended channels for use with 132 single-ended signals. The FPGA in this unit comprises 58,880 LUTs (Flip-Flops), 640 DSP48 Slices, and 8,784 Kbits of embedded block RAM. The PXIe-7965R operates by a default time base running at a frequency of 40 MHz and is designed to facilitate peer-to-peer streaming.
